Boxing Day Football, an English tradition since 1880. Darlington FC, the fan-owned club of a small, hard-nosed, working class town in the industrial North East of England, which also happens to be the town I grew up in, host local rivals Scarborough Athletic FC in the National League North, the sixth tier of English football on Boxing Day (the day after Christmas) 2022. Scarborough won 3-2.
